JD and Honor to Deepen Omni-channel Cooperation

JD’s computer and digital product business unite will deepen omni-channel cooperation with Honor, one of the leading smartphone makers in China, as announced on Apr. 19.

Based on JD’s Consumer-to-Manufacturer model (C2M), JD and Honor will co-develop a wide range of products including laptops, tablets, routers, smart devices, wearable devices and audio products.

Tao Ren (L), who’s in charge of JD’s computer and digital product business unit, signed cooperation with Ni Jiayue (R), who is in charge of Honor’s smart omni-channel business, on April 19.

Honor will also be able to deliver its products to consumers across all scenarios via JD’s online and offline channels.

In overseas business, Honor will reach global consumers through JD’s outbound e-commerce platform.

JD is the largest retail platform for computer and digital products in China, and Chinese consumers consistently rank JD as their preferred marketplace for purchasing electronics.

During last year’s June 18 Grand Promotion (Jun. 1-18), JD’s sales ranked No.1 in several computer and digital product categories, including laptops, desktops and tablets, according to data from international market research firm IDC.
