JD Logistics to Support Beijing Half Marathon 2021

JD Logistics (JDL) announced on April 13th that it would provide services to Beijing Half Marathon 2021 which is part of the Beijing International Running Festival, due to open at 7 a.m. on Apr. 24.
The services include warehousing, transportation and delivery of goods needed before, during and after the event.
“JDL has prepared 1,500 square meters of warehouses for the event. The preparation also includes almost 100 e-vehicles for transportation, 20 vehicles to serve as storage lockers and more than 300 staff members,” said Li Na, a spokesperson of JDL.
It will be the fourth consecutive time for JDL to provide logistics services for the Beijing Marathon.
Established in 1956, this event was named “Running around Beijing”. It was upgraded to the name of Beijing Half Marathon in 2016. It has been one of the signature public sports events in the city.
This year’s event is expected to draw around 10,000 participants, who will cover a distance of 21.0975 kilometers. The route covers landmarks including Tian’anmen Square, Temple of the Earth and Beijing Olympic.
