According to the MoU, the parties will invest in a joint venture to collaborate on the development of a 2.5 million square feet land (~250,000 sqm) for a logistics facility in the UAE, envisioned as a regional distribution and fulfilment hub supporting local and regional supply chain needs across the Middle East.
The MoU was signed on 13 October, with the signing witnessed by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers. The agreement underscores the growing commercial ties between UAE- and China-based businesses and the role of direct engagement in facilitating cross-border investment and partnerships.
The partnership forms part of Gargash Prime’s strategy to develop large-scale real estate and logistics infrastructure in the UAE through partnerships with global category leaders. It also supports the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global trade and logistics hub and aligns with the broader objectives of economic diversification and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.

JINGDONG Industrials and AMD Partner to Bring AI to Factory Operations
JINGDONG Industrials and AMD signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 13, 2026, to develop AI products and applications for factories, workshops, and other industrial environments. The partnership will combine JINGDONG Industrials’ industrial AI models and supply chain expertise with AMD’s high-performance computing technology to support equipment maintenance, quality inspection, and workplace safety.

Signed at the China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, the agreement includes adapting and jointly optimising JINGDONG Industrials’ JoyIndustrial model for AMD Ryzen AI Max Series processors. The companies aim to enable industrial AI models to run directly on devices at operational sites, supporting faster responses, improved data security and greater operational flexibility.
Planned applications include predictive equipment maintenance, visual quality inspection, safety inspections, production scheduling and supply chain collaboration. The companies will jointly develop, validate and demonstrate solutions to support wider adoption by industrial customers.
The partnership will also explore industrial world models – AI models designed to understand operating environments and anticipate how conditions may change. This work will combine JINGDONG Industrials’ industrial data and operational expertise with AMD’s computing and edge deployment capabilities. Potential applications include anticipating collision risks in factories and warehouses by analyzing vehicle trajectories, worker movements and surrounding conditions.

“By working closely with AMD on collaborative optimization, we will significantly strengthen our AI service capabilities and the real-world value we deliver to the industrial sector,” said Peinuan Wang, CEO of JINGDONG Industrials.
“This partnership represents a leading new paradigm for industrial intelligence that both parties are exploring together — moving AI beyond seeing and recognizing to understanding, reasoning, and predicting in real production environments,” said Spencer Pan, Senior Vice President and President of Greater China at AMD.
The companies also plan to provide AI products, application solutions and services to multinational corporations, international businesses and Chinese companies expanding globally, drawing on JINGDONG Industrials’ sales channels and customer network.
