JINGDONG Industrials Hosts Partner Conference in Indonesia, Expands Local Supply Chain Integration
JINGDONG Industrials, a leading Chinese industrial supply chain technology and service provider under JD.com (also known as JINGDONG), held its first Business Partner Conference in Indonesia. During the conference on December 10, JINGDONG Industrials formalized agreements with prominent brands including Henkel, Fluke, Sinopec, SATA, ZEBRA and more, expanding the range of industrial and general-purpose products available in Indonesia on its platform. The company also introduced a simplified onboarding process and exclusive incentives tailored to local partners.
The event attracted participation from over 100 industrial suppliers, featuring both globally recognized names and high-quality local merchants, including 3M, ABB, Bosch, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, and more.
JINGDONG Industrials’ invitation to Indonesia-based suppliers stems from the growing procurement needs of Chinese companies in the region, particularly in industries such as automotive, electronics, metallurgy, and consumer goods. The collaboration opportunities span a wide range of categories, including industrial products such as wires, cables, machinery, and lifting equipment, as well as general-purpose products like office supplies, networking equipment, and office furniture.
By leveraging JD.com’s extensive expertise in supply chain management, JINGDONG Industrials aims to establish a highly efficient, precise, and reliable procurement system that connects Chinese companies abroad with local suppliers.
With a deep understanding of the procurement needs of Chinese manufacturing enterprises, JINGDONG Industrials provides comprehensive services that cover demand matching, inventory management, fulfillment, and after-sales support. Its platform offers one-stop solutions for both general MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) products, specialized MRO products, and BOM (bill of materials) components. Additionally, its self-developed TAIPU intelligent supply chain solution offers a full suite of services, including consulting, top-down design, and system configuration, fostering deeper integration between Chinese and Indonesian supply chains and promoting mutual growth.
As China’s leading industrial supply chain platform, JINGDONG Industrials supports over 50% of China’s Fortune 500 companies and more than 40% of global Fortune 500 companies operating in China.
China is the second-largest source of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia. Over the past decade, Chinese investment in Indonesia has increased nearly tenfold. In 2024, Chinese investments are projected to reach USD 7.42 billion. As Indonesia continues to be one of the most attractive investment destinations in the ASEAN region, JINGDONG Industrials’ initiative further strengthens the ongoing economic collaboration between China and Indonesia and contributes to the development of the regional industrial supply chain ecosystem.

JD.com Targets 5 Billion RMB with Chilean Product Partnership as 2024/25 Season Cherry Sales Launch
On December 12, JD Super, the supermarket division of JD.com (also known as JINGDONG), launched the Chilean Specialties Festival and kicked off 2024/25 Chilean cherry sales with the recent arrival of the first “Cherry Express” ship in China. In a ceremony attended by the Chilean Ambassador to China, H.E. Mr. Mauricio Hurtado, JD Super signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chilean brands, aiming to achieve 5 billion RMB in sales of Chilean products, including cherries, wine, and salmon, over the next three years.
The sea-freight Chilean cherry sales launch event was officiated by Ambassador Hurtado, Chao Junwen, Secretary-General of the China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce, and Juan Latife, General Manager of Garces Fruit China, Chile’s leading cherry exporter.
Through large-scale direct sourcing, JD’s procurement team has reduced the import costs of Chilean cherries, offering consumers prices that are approximately 15% lower than those on other e-commerce platforms for the same grade and size.
To ensure quality and proper grading, JD Super has introduced a caliper offering this season. Each box of cherries comes with a caliper that allows consumers to accurately grade the fruit and ensure they have received high-quality Chilean cherries.
Since late October, JD’s online channels and its 7Fresh omnichannel supermarket chain have been selling the season’s air-freight Chilean cherries. This product offering, which has been met with enthusiasm from Chinese consumers, is supported by JD’s extensive national cold-chain logistics network and instant delivery services that can deliver orders within 30 minutes, making it easy and affordable for users to enjoy the early batch of Chilean cherries.
“This large-scale procurement cooperation will allow JD Super to continue leveraging our strong supply chain capabilities and work closely with Chilean partners to offer a wider variety of Chilean products at competitive prices and services to Chinese consumers,” said a spokesperson of JD Super.
