JD Logistics Launches Self-Operated Warehouse in Mexico, Establishing Integrated Local Fulfillment and Large-Item Delivery Capabilities
JD Logistics, also known as JINGDONG Logistics, has officially opened its first self-operated warehouse in Mexico. Covering over 40,000 square meters, the facility is designed to provide local warehousing and logistics services in Mexico.
Leveraging JD Logistics’ robust supply chain capabilities, the new site enables local deliveries as fast as within one day. This launch also represents a step in JD Logistics’ broader effort to build a supply chain logistics system in South America.
JD Logistics also entered into a partnership with a leading Mexican conglomerate to collaborate across local warehousing and transportation. JD Logistics will offer its warehouse operations expertise, including site planning, warehouse management system, automation solutions, staff training, and business development. Together, the two parties aim to build integrated B2C and B2B logistics service capabilities tailored to the Mexican market.
In addition, JD Logistics and its partner will co-develop a large-item delivery network, introducing one-stop delivery and installation services for bulky items. This offering is designed to address gaps in Mexico’s local fulfillment capabilities for categories such as home appliances and furniture, while improving service efficiency for third-party logistics clients.
