JD Logistics, also known as JINGDONG Logistics, officially opened its first self-operated warehouse in Japan on December 25, 2024. The facility will provide integrated e-commerce supply chain solutions for businesses in both Japan and South Korea, as well as overseas brands expanding into these markets.

JD Logistics also announced plans to further strengthen its services in the regions by establishing additional self-operated warehouses over the next 2-3 years and developing multi-country international air cargo routes, to support its vision for “2-3 Day Delivery Circle” across the Asia-Pacific region.

Strategically located in Chiba Prefecture, the warehouse can store millions of items using advanced warehousing technologies. It is equipped with hundreds of warehousing robots, sorting robots, and automated operation lines, more than doubling processing efficiency compared to traditional manual operations.

In addition, JD Logistics will continue building overseas warehouses in the Asia-Pacific region to establish a warehousing and distribution network spanning key metropolitan areas in Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. JD Logistics’ overseas warehouses will support same-day order receiving and dispatching, cutting fulfillment time by 24 hours compared to local industry averages in Japan and South Korea, significantly improving the shopping experience for regional consumers.

Recently, JD Logistics unveiled its 2025 roadmap for integrated supply chain development in international markets. The plan focuses on expanding global warehousing and air freight networks and strengthening international express delivery services, to deliver seamless, efficient supply chain logistics services to global clients.
