A visitor is trying JD Health’s intelligent health screening robot. Through multiple cameras, sensors, ECG, PPG and bioelectric modules, the robot can provide a preliminary analysis of people’s health conditions and risk factors based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories.

JD Logistics is exhibiting a series of logistics robots researched in-house. The “Dilang” (Ground Wolf) AGV is used for picking goods. It enables pickers to stay on the working platform and wait for the AGVs to come to them. With this system, one pickers can pick about 250 orders per hour, which is three times the efficiency of a traditional picking approach.

JD launched its first cargo flight between China and the U.S. on Jun. 7. The route between Nanjing Jiangsu province and Los Angeles will facilitate the transport of quality Chinese products to the U.S. and vice versa.
Over 100 automated ground vehicles (AGVs) were put into use in JD’s 27,000 square-meter logistics center in Lhasa, Tibet on Jun. 9, making it the largest smart warehouse in this autonomous region. JD will further develop its logistics infrastructure in Tibet, building more warehouses, transfer and distribution hubs, to serve better local customers and help Tibet’s specialties reach the rest of the nation.
JD Logistics announced on Jun. 10 that it will upgrade the service of its autonomous delivery vehicles during this year’s 618 Grand Promotion to satisfy consumers’ demands whenever and wherever. At the same time, 30 new Level-4 autonomous vehicles are being put into use in Changshu, Jiangsu province from today. Click here to read more.

Cinta Laura is an Indonesian-German actress, electropop singer and model who was appointed ambassador of anti-violence against women and children by the Indonesian Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection in 2019.

Students in Suqian Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Foreign Language School had a penalty kick competition on a new soccer field made of recycled plastic bottles on Jun. 4. The field has been constructed using recycled plastic bottles. Last year, over 20,000 families joined the bottle recycling program launched by JD Green Stream Initiative and P&G Beauty.
JD Health and Sanofi China announced to expand existing collaboration to building general and digitalized health management solutions for patients with chronic diseases in China on Jun 1. Based on the “internet + healthcare” model, the cooperation aims to benefit more patients across the country with premier medical services and relieve pressure on the overloaded public medical system.
JD.com’s 618 Grand Promotion (Jun. 1-18) officially began at 00:00am on Jun 1. Four minutes after paying the remaining balance on her pre-sale order, Ms. Wang, a resident of Changshu, Jiangsu province, received the skin care set she ordered, delivered by JD’s autonomous delivery robot.

JD.com’s international business, JD Worldwide, signed a partnership with Ping An Bank’s Shenzhen branch on May 31, to collaborate on foreign trade services including bank account service, cross-border finance, offshore finance, supply chain finance, e-finance and more.
JD.com and Chang’an Ford signed an agreement to further deepen cooperation on May 28 in Chongqing to ensure the supply of a full line of Chang’an Ford’s products through JD.com together with timely after-sale services.
