China’s State Post Bureau announced that JD Express received one of the highest satisfaction ratings among parcel delivery service providers in the third quarter, marking the second time JD has won the honor this year.
JD Express received a score of 80, above the average score of 78.6—which itself has risen 0.4 points since last year, an indicator that the entire industry is pushing toward a more satisfying customer experience. The score system was calculated via an online survey, with 15,900 participants across 10 service providers in 50 cities.
During this year’s Singles Day Grand Promotion, 93% of JD’s first party orders achieved same or next day delivery speed, while volume of parcel delivery increased 164% YoY, and volume of local specialty orders increased five times compared with the June 18th promotion period, meeting different delivery needs from customers.
Now JD’s parcel delivery can provide service in 338 cities in China, and the doorstep delivery service is popular among customers.
Representative from JD Express said, “Going forward, JD will continuously invest in technology and create diverse delivery services for customers, providing a fast, accurate, stable and best delivery experience for them.”
JD Logistics, also known as JINGDONG Logistics, has officially launched a new international all-cargo air route connecting Wuhu, China with Hanoi, Vietnam—marking the first direct freight flight service from Wuhu to Vietnam. This new route builds on JD Logistics’ growing Southeast Asia air network, which already includes routes between Shenzhen and Bangkok, as well as Shenzhen and Kuala Lumpur.
Leveraging the strategic location of Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport (IATA:WHA) in China’s Yangtze River Delta, this new route enables efficient multimodal transportation across air, rail, road, and waterways, covering most of China’s core cities within 2-4 hours. The Wuhu to Hanoi route will primarily serve as a critical channel for exporting apparel, home appliances, furniture, and mechanical parts from eastern and central China to Vietnam, while facilitating the import of Vietnamese specialty goods into China. Operating 2–3 times per week, each flight can carry up to 20 tons of cargo.
In recent years, JD Logistics has made significant progress in expanding its global end-to-end logistics capabilities. The company now operates over 100 bonded, direct mail, and overseas warehouses worldwide, managing more than 1 million square meters. In Southeast Asia alone, JD Logistics runs 7 overseas warehouses, supporting local businesses, Chinese brands expanding globally, and cross-border e-commerce sellers. In 2024, the company’s Southeast Asia business has more than doubled in volume year-over-year, driven by deepening strategic partnerships across the region.
JD Logistics is also rapidly expanding its cross-border air freight capabilities across Southeast Asia, with air routes now serving Vietnam, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Malaysia. Looking ahead, the company will continue investing in its three strategic pillars—overseas warehouses, international air freight, and global express delivery—as it works to build a seamless and efficient global supply chain logistics network for businesses and consumers worldwide.
On April 24, JD Logistics (also known as JINGDONG Logistics), the logistics arm of China’s largest retailer JD.com, announced expansion into South Korea’s domestic supply chain logistics market. Two self-operated logistics centers are now fully operational in Icheon and Incheon, offering third-party logistics (3PL) and integrated supply chain solutions for businesses, with fulfillment speed as fast as 12 hours in Seoul and parts of the capital region.
The Icheon warehouse currently serves a South Korean e-commerce company, and is equipped with advanced automation technologies, including auto-packing machines and automatic sorting systems. These solutions have significantly enhanced picking and packaging efficiency. Facing fulfillment volatility risks, the client turned to JD Logistics to stabilize their supply chain. Within just one month, JD Logistics deployed a fully functional alternative logistics system complete with rapid resource mobilization and operational switchover to ensure a smooth transition and uninterrupted service.

Additionally, JD Logistics introduced a batch-based inventory system specifically for food items, allowing for tiered storage by packaging unit. This system-led picking process minimizes fulfillment errors and ensures better expiration date management—critical for maintaining food quality and customer trust.
A standout feature of the Icheon facility is JD Logistics’ intelligent warehouse operation system. Leveraging AI-based inventory optimization, popular SKUs are automatically reallocated to high-turnover zones. This dynamic reconfiguration, driven by real-time demand forecasting, enhances operational agility and enables deliveries in as little as 12 hours to Seoul and surrounding areas.
The Incheon logistics center provides end-to-end supply chain services for local beauty brands and a prominent U.S. consumer goods brand operating in South Korea.
“Consumers in South Korea expect fast and precise delivery,” said a JD Logistics representative. “The flexibility and accuracy of logistics operations have become core differentiators. By combining our automation capabilities with global operations expertise, JD Logistics is well-positioned to support local brands and enhance customer satisfaction.”
Beyond its local offerings, JD Logistics connects Korean products directly with Chinese consumers via JD.com’s cross-border e-commerce platform, JINGDONG Worldwide (JD Worldwide).
As JD.com ranks 47th on the Fortune Global 500 and fulfills over 90% of self-operated orders within 24 hours in China, JD Logistics continues to replicate its advanced logistics infrastructure and service expertise to support global brands and merchants. With over 100 bonded, direct mail and overseas warehouses globally, JD Logistics has established 2-3-day delivery services in key markets in Europe, North America, and more. In select regions, same-day delivery is also available.
