Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 20 July 2026 – JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure asset management and development arm of JD.com, has signed an agreement with the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) to develop Grade-A warehousing facilities within Jeddah Islamic Port and the local logistics centers.
The new partnership was announced a signing ceremony in Jeddah. His Excellency, Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, and His Excellency, Eng. Suliman Al-Mazroua, President of the Saudi Ports Authority, attended the signing ceremony.

As Saudi Arabia’s largest import and export gateway, Jeddah Islamic Port handles approximately 70% of the Kingdom’s seaborne imports and serves as an important logistics node connecting Asia, Europe and Africa. Growing trade flows through the port are driving sustained demand for modern storage and distribution facilities across the surrounding logistics corridor.
The development is expected to serve third-party logistics providers, e-commerce companies, manufacturers, retailers and beyond. JINGDONG Property also plans to introduce JD.com’s leading logistics technology and automation capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and support resilient supply chains.
The agreement is a part of JINGDONG Property’s long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and its strategy to build a portfolio of high-quality logistics and industrial assets across the Kingdom. The company continues to invest in strategic locations that support economic growth, attract foreign investment, and meet the increasing demand for modern logistics facilities. These efforts support the priorities of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s ambition to reinforce its position as a global logistics hub.
“Saudi Arabia is a strategic market for JINGDONG Property, and this project reflects our long-term commitment to the Kingdom and our confidence in the future of Jeddah Port,” said a spokesperson for JINGDONG Property. “By leveraging our capabilities in high-standard warehouse development, intelligent operations and asset management, we aim to build world-class logistics assets that strengthen supply-chain resilience and contribute to the priorities of Saudi Vision 2030.”
JINGDONG Property will continue to expand its presence in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
