JD Super held the 2021 Baby Festival Carnival in Changsha, Hunan province from Apr.10-11. The carnival provides an area for parents and children to have fun. It also showcases high-quality maternal and baby products provided by Huggies, Babycare, Gerber and Feihe, a creative handiwork displays with toys from Lego, BOBDOG, and more, as well as an organic baby food area with selected products from global brands. The carnival also has a special section that JD jointly developed with Hunan Museum, showing leading domestic brands and Chinese goat milk powder products.

By creating a direct supply chain with the fishing grounds, JD Super ensures the freshness and quality of the fish, selecting only those caught on the same or the previous day. Accelerated Nationwide Cold-Chain Delivery
JD Logistics, the logistics arm of JD.com, plays a vital role in this initiative. Traditionally, Chagan Lake fish were transported through multiple intermediaries, which increased costs and delivery times. This year, JD Logistics has streamlined the process by establishing a transit hub in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. By leveraging extensive air resources, they have launched nearly 20 air routes from major nearby cities such as Changchun, Harbin, and Shenyang, significantly reducing shipping times. JD Logistics continues to optimize transportation routes and enhance its delivery network, achieving an average delivery time reduction of 3 hours for fish orders, ensuring that consumers nationwide receive first-rate fish quickly and in peak condition.

JD.com has seen a 210% increase in searches for sleep aids, with high demand for sleep headphones, eye masks, and nutritional supplements. Sales of sleep-enhancing pillows and mattresses have also grown significantly.

The home medical device market is expanding as consumers increasingly monitor their health independently. Products like heart rate-monitoring smartwatches and glucose meters are becoming household staples. This year, JD.com data shows that purchases of vision care devices and smart health monitoring equipment have tripled. The market for home medical devices is expected to reach 380 billion RMB by 2025.

Emphasizing early screening and intervention, JD.com has seen a significant rise in orders for health services such as genetic testing and early cancer screening.
